Goals

Part of that "lifelong learning" philosophy is always working towards something. I always have some ideas about where I'd like to go moving forward, but I've found that actually writing things down and sharing that with others really helps. So, here are some of my 5 year or less goals you'll see me working towards along the course of this blog.

Health & Fitness

  • Complete my shoulder physical therapy
  • Develop a lifting routine and perform it 3x a week
  • Find a yoga class and attend weekly
  • Run the 5k Color Me Rad in Albany this fall
  • Run one of the Disney Half Marathons (hey, if you're going to do it, you may as well do it in Disney)
Education & Career
  • Write and submit at least one article for journal publication each year
  • Become more involved in my professional organization
  • Hold a conversation in American Sign Language
Travel
  • Spend a long weekend in Vermont
  • Re-visit Paris with Mr. C by my side
  • Do a "Civil War" trip
  • Head back to Disneyworld with Mr. C and the P Family
Family & Finances
  • Make an honest man of Mr. C
  • Pay off my student loans (blargh)
  • Have a savings bubble
  • Buy our first house
  • Get a dog, preferably but not limited to a Golden Retriever
